Medicina Osteopatica Sistemi neuroendocrino , gastroenterico e neuroscienze (EPUB3 + Converted PDF)
Through Roberto Pagliaro
The nervous , endocrine and immune systems make together a unique and complex functional unit through which multisensory afferents , thoughts and emotions affect the strength of the immune , neuroendocrine and neurovegetative responses . Due to the fact that the same hormones now have immunomodulatory functions and that different organs from the same ones express endocrine functions , the current definition of an endocrina gland needs to be modified .
The HPA pathway , the colinergic anti-inflammatory system , neuroimmune communication and neurogenic inflammation are the factors that can contribute to osteoarthritis , which has direct implications for the endocrine , nervous and autonomic systems . There is a complex interaction between the cranial and visceral systems , the microbiome , the enteric nervous system and the vagal and sympathetic components of the autonomic nervous system all at the same time .
The neuroendocrine system interacts closely with the immune system and the encephalon , forming an intimate connection with the emotional and cognitive-behavioral regulatory systems . As a result , osteopaths and other therapists must modify and vary their therapeutic approaches in light of these new discoveries and the patient’s unique characteristics .
