of cytology!

This thorough review aims to improve your clinical knowledge base and assist you in passing the certification or CC tests in cytopathology.

The focus is on board-relevant standards of care and evidence-based practice, with innovative ideas and testing approaches combined with quality control and

laboratory management tactics to help you improve your diagnostic and consulting abilities. Many of our past participants reported that the course helped them

identify specific areas of weakness for self-study and enhanced their diagnostic and evaluative skills.

Learning Goals

Describe the typical forms of cytology specimens and the proper methods for getting them ready for analysis.

For every organ system, distinguish between normal components and benign reactive processes and aberrant and malignant tumors.

To define lesions of each organ system as neoplastic or non-neoplastic, use the most recent consensus diagnostic words and criteria.

Recognize the significance of using rapid on-site assessment (ROSE) of tissue samples obtained through tiny needle aspirations in order to lower medical

expenses and minimize discomfort to patients.

Use your cytopathology expertise to obtain subspecialty certification or recertification.
